AJ is a cute little boy, that's for sure! He loves to cuddle his humans just as much as he likes to play! He is currently living with another small dog and loves to play. He also previously lived with large dogs and did great with them. He also lives with a cat and a small child. He likes to chase the cat around so they are generally separated but he does not hurt them. He has done well with cats in the past and may do ok with dog savvy ones. He does well with the young child but can get nervous and will let them know if they are making him uncomfortable. AJ can be vocal when he sees strangers outside or other dogs, so he would do best in a home rather than an apartment. AJ definitely warmed his way into his foster human's hearts... and in their bed! He does get very anxious/carsick in the car and will need a family that will understand that when they take him somewhere. His carsickness can be helped with motion sickness medication for occasions of traveling. Overall, AJ is an amazing little guy! He would be happy to be apart of your home!

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, 4Dx test (covers tick-borne diseases ( A naplasmosis , Lymes, E hrlichiosis) as well as heart worm)  & de-worming.  We ask that our dogs live indoors unless otherwise stated & agreed upon.   We are a smaller group that typically takes on harder cases that require special homes so we ask that applicants live in our area - if you do not live in the MN, please contact us via email before submitting an application to determine whether the animal you are interested in is a case we are comfortable adopting out to a family out of our area.
