Bunny Rabbit / Mixed (medium coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Medium
Hello. My name is AURORA! I am a sweet, gentle and very social gal loves head pets and floortime. I came into the rescue severely overweight due to improper diet but with lots exercise time and a sensible meals I’m losing weight and feeling great!
I had a roommate but he was very sick and crossed the rainbow bridge so my foster mom thinks I may do well with a bonded mate. I wasn’t used to eating salads in my previous home but now I LOVE them. Overall I’m just a big beautiful girl just looking for love and a nice soft fleece to sleep on. When you first meet me I can be a bit shy but if you lay on the floor with me and give me head pets I will chatter my teeth and close my eyes.. my foster mom calls this “bunny purrs” I love to run around and explore my surroundings and when I’m done I go back into my expen for a nice long nap. I also really enjoy short supervised romps outside in a large expen on days when the weather permits, the fresh air feels soooooo good!! Overall, I’m just a sweet gal with much love to give.
I would love to have an opportunity to meet you to see if we can be a good match. If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at www.fureverhomerescue.com .
Adoption fee: $95.00 (+ tax)
FEHR bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become companion indoor house pets. FEHR is a non-profit rescue group with all volunteers and with 100% of donations going for the direct care of our animals. Due to their specific behavioral needs FEHR does not support or advocate our rescue bunnies to be adopted out as Emotional support animals ( ESA’s)
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website www.fureverhomerescue.com .
For the safety of our rescue bunnies and our protocol that requires a home visit before placement, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area or our volunteers.
