Punkin is a super sweet gal who is searching for a mellow home where she can work on overcoming her fears and learn what its like to be a normal dog. She is quite fearful in new situations and gets startled easily. She will pancake to the floor when nervous and will need someone who is patient and understanding to help her feel more comfortable and confident. Despite that she is incredibly happy and sweet! Especially with the people she lives. 
Because of her general fearfulness, we are looking for a home without small children. Punkin LOVES running around outside in the yard and is always so happy to strut around. Punkin has a history of ingesting toys and had an obstruction surgery when she came to rescue. Because of this, potential fosters/adopters will need to be very careful with the kinds of toys she gets and she cannot be unsupervised with toys that she may be able to rip apart. Punkin does not get along with other animals and she will need to be the only pet in the home. She will also need a home with a 6ft fence. Punk is a special girl who needs a very special home who understands her needs and can make sure she is always being set up for success. She really is a loving girl who likes to snuggle and watch tv and give kisses she just didn't have the best start in life. She was mistreated and never learned love. We just know there is someone out there that can understand her and give her the life she deserves.

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, 4Dx test (covers tick-borne diseases ( A naplasmosis , Lymes, E hrlichiosis) as well as heart worm)  & de-worming.  We ask that our dogs live indoors unless otherwise stated & agreed upon. We ask that applicants live in our area.
