Hello. I am Queen Lagertha. My life has not been easy but despite my obstacles I am here and I am ready to have a kingdom to call my own. I was living outside trying my best to survive. A kind woman saw I was in need quickly realizing I was also a mother. She took me to the local Humane Society thinking that is what was best for me. She had no idea that they would in fact want to end the life of not only myself but my babies as well. She quickly took me back into her care and frantically searched for rescue. That is how I ended up here. All but one of my children has found loving homes. Though I will miss them I am happy to see them so happy and I know they will have good lives. I am a sweet girl but I am still getting used to the idea of being safe so I am pretty independent. I do like affection but it's new to me. I would love a home with a warm bed, yummy treats, and a window for bird watching. I don't ask to much. I am just so happy to be alive.

We are a smaller group that typically takes on harder cases that require special homes so we ask that applicants live in our area - if you do not live in the MN or surrounding states, please contact us via email before submitting an application to determine whether the animal you are interested in is a case we are comfortable adopting out to a family out of our area.
