Hi! We are Laverne and Shirley! We came to the rescue after being saved from a farm.

We both love to explore and enjoy having our run time together. We are very curious but can scare around new noises or people. Regardless we have put a lot of time into warming up quickly to our environment. 

We absolutely love head scratches and the easiest way to our heart is through treats . We love our salads and even run laps when it's food time. 

Although being picked up isn't our favorite, we don't have issues being held for periods. 

We haven't had much experience with other animals, but they would probably be a little too scary for us. We would prefer a quieter home where we can lounge about!  

As sisters we have wonderfully distinct personalities, Laverne is the quiet- self satisfied type, and Shirley is more rambunctious and independent, but together we make the perfect duo!

FEHR bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become companion indoor house pets. FEHR is a non-profit rescue group with all volunteers and with 100% of donations going for the direct care of our animals.

Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate our rescue rabbits as Emotional Support Animals (ESA).

For the safety of our rescue bunnies and our protocol that requires a home visit before placement, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area or our volunteers.
