This dog has been through so much this is just killing me she is losing her home. Piper was previously fostered by a wonderful man who sadly passed away. Sweet Piper laid with his body for a number of days before he was discovered. She was then adopted shortly after. Piper had an incident where an unknown dog came up in the yard where her and her mom were sitting. Piper reacted by going after the dog & the association where she lived required she leave - so she is back with the rescue again :(
Piper is a very sweet girl who adores all humans she just either needs to be an only animal, or she will need to be crate and rotated while we address her issues. Since the passing of her foster human she has also become extra needy and seeks affection frequently so she would enjoy a home where she can get a lot of love. Her last adopter took her on pack walks twice a week with other dogs and she was doing great! She could really use slow intro's with other dogs and time and patience. She is a total sweetheart, was around children in her last home, and kennels up like a champ!
Can anyone please help us find a place for Piper to stay that can help her with her reactivity and give her a sense of security?
We provide training assistance and will be there to help every step of the way.
