*FOSTER NEEDED*

Babi is a sweet natured, calm gal who would love a home and human to call her own. She really enjoys a good cuddle but is also content to just hang out around you. Babi is house and crate trained and really loves her kennel. It is a place of her own that she doesn't have to share with other dogs or humans. She is happy to be in there chewing bones or maybe take a snooze. She loves her kennel so much that she even prefers to eat in there. Babi is great with older, considerate children who can give her space when she needs it and who won't steal her toys/bones from her. She has previously lived in a home with other dogs and did great, however she had some bad experiences in her adoptive home and since being returned she has been more unsure of new dogs. We believe after a decompress period and slow proper intros she would do well in a home with a mellow, balanced dog of similar size who can respect her space and won't pressure her. She also does not share toys, bones, or treats with other dogs. Babi would also be content being an only dog.

We will require Babi to do a two week shutdown to help her decompress and settle in to her new environment. If there are other dogs in the home slow intros will start after the decompression period and will need to be taken slow. Babi is also working on muzzle training to help set her up for success when meeting new dogs. She would thrive in a home with a strong leader who can give her the structure and rules she needs. We would also prefer that adopter has previous bully breed experience.

Babi also has some skin allergies (typical blue pittie) that are controlled with a daily allergy pill (apoquel, average $2/pill) and special fish based diet.

If you are interested in meeting or adopting this animal, please read the following before submitting an adoption application on our website - fureverhomerescue.com.

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, 4Dx test (covers tick-borne diseases ( A naplasmosis   , Lymes, E   hrlichiosis) as well as heart worm)    & de-worming.  We ask that our dogs live indoors unless otherwise stated & agreed upon.   We are a smaller group that typically takes on harder cases that require special homes so we ask that applicants live in our area - if you do not live in the MN, please contact us via email before submitting an application to determine whether the animal you are interested in is a case we are comfortable adopting out to a family out of our area.
